Η Disney έσπασε τα ταμεία το 2016 και το 2017 αναμένεται να συνεχίσει στον ίδιο ρυθμό, καθώς ετοιμάζει αρκετές ταινίες που το κοινό περιμένει με ανυπομονησία, όπως τα «Star Wars: Episode VIII», «Thor: Ragnarok», «Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2» και «Beauty and the Beast».
Επίσης μεταξύ των ταινιών που θα κυκλοφορήσει φέτος η εταιρεία, βρίσκονται τα: «Cars 3», «Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales», «Coco», «Spiderman: Homecoming» κ.ά., με την Disney να ξεκινάει από νωρίς την προώθηση κάποιων από αυτών, με teaser trailers και με νέες αφίσες που έχουν τα λογότυπα των ταινιών.
